Best Turkish Restaurant in Waterloo

Nev Turkish Restaurant is AMAZING! The food is very authentic, every dish is packed with flavour. The Inegol Kofte was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The staff and our server Amy were incredibly friendly, courteous, and respectful, which made the experience even better. My two friends and I went for lunch, talked for hours catching up on life and ended up staying for four hours. We never felt rushed. Their homemade baklava was so delicious, not too sweet.

The Adana kebab was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. On top of the amazing food, the staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and respectful, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again – highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Turkish cuisine!

Went in for a late lunch around 1:30 pm...our server and the manager were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had some of the fresh-baked bread with a trio of dips, Sarma (stuffed grape leaves with olive oil), a doner plate, and the Karniyarik, a delicious stuffed eggplant dish. Absolutely everything about this place was phenomenal. I had been in once before for takeout, but wanted to experience the atmosphere and full menu, and we were not disappointed.

The bread was so fresh and good. The hummus and yogurt dips were great. All of the food was fresh. Borek was highly addictive. Pide was delicious. The portions were huge too. We ordered a massive amount of food for two people, and ended up eating it all. 😅

Shared large Turkish salad, hummus & bread between 3 people for appetizer. Salad was good & much larger than expected. Hummus had a seed garnish that distinguished it. Bread was very good. Shared 3 pides: spinach & ground beef, mix, & eggplant. Great variety of tastes. Crust was outstanding. Had two large containers to take home. We were hungry beforehand, but no room to try dessert. Went for early dinner & service was excellent.
